Report: Uniontown Hospital delays $32M construction project
Uniontown Hospital, which is in the midst of leaving a relationship with UPMC, will postpone its $32 million renovation plan.
The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported Tuesday that the hospital’s CEO said it would take 18 months to 24 months to get back on track with the work. Steve Handy said in a memo obtained by the newspaper that the 160-bed hospital needed to decide “how to stabilize our physician-related services wi thout destabilizing the hospital.”
