Biotech to add local jobs to after FDA approval

After getting the green light from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, Catalyst Pharmaceuticals said it will add 28 full-time employees to sell and market its newest drug. About half of those jobs will be based in Coral Gables, Catalyst (Nasdaq: CPRX) CEO Patrick J. McEnany said. The new hires are part of the biopharmaceutical company's commercialization plan for Firdapse, which the FDA approved for sale last week.
