Finally A Reason To Change The Roux en Y Gastric Bypass
This excellent paper by Rosenthal et al1 reviews the body of RYGBP literature concerning limb lengths. They find interestingly that the biliopancreatic limb is the most important measurement in determining outcomes while the Roux limb length plays no effect in long term outcomes. However, this paper could just have easily said bypassing more intestine is better.
