Bristol-Myers Squibb lays off employees in Tampa office

Bristol-Myers Squibb, which came to Tampa in 2014 with such fanfare that Gov. Rick Scott attended the opening, announced it will lay off 69 employees in January 2019. A Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification filed with the state shows the biopharmaceutical company will lay off the employees effective Jan. 31. Employees were given notice on Nov. 14.
