Background: Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) programs have been shown to improve outcomes and cost in a variety of surgical specialties. However, minimal data has been published on ERAS in bariatric surgery. This comparative analysis aims to evaluate the outcomes and cost during the first year of a newly implemented bariatric ERAS program.
