Unity's fate remains up in the air as deadline looms
With the final deadline looming, the Unity Center for Behavioral Health still didn ’t know for certain on Tuesday whether it will be allowed to retain its federal certification.
The psychiatric hospital has until today to fix the patient and staff safety problems that have plagued it most of this year. As of Tuesday, the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services still had Unity on a termination track.
