Beth Israel, Lahey say merger will save, not cost, the state millions
The hospitals involved in a proposed five-way merger involving Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Lahey Health argued back in a filing late last week against an estimate saying the deal would raise the state's health care costs, saying that it would in fact save the state money.
