Pittsburgh Announces Community Paramedic Academy

The CONNECT Community Paramedic Program in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania is part of one of the longest running community paramedic programs in the nation.   As pioneers in this constantly evolving role, the CONNECT Community Paramedic Team will be offering a unique, week-long training program for EMTs, AEMTs and Paramedics interested in expanding their patient assessment and intervention techniques to practice in this new role. Led by Dr. Swayze and current community paramedics on the team, the academy will be offered Monday September 26, 2016 through Friday September 30, 2016 from 0830 until 1630 in Cranberry Township, PA.   VERY limited seating is available to outside organizations for this training so those interested in the academy are encouraged to register soon at http://tiny.cc/CPAcademy before the seats are filled.
