Gov. Brown calls on AG Sessions to protect people with pre-existing conditions

Gov. Kate Brown, joined by governors in eight other states, is appealing to Attorney General Jeff Sessions to protect health care coverage for people with pre-existing conditions. Sessions' Department of Justice opted earlier this month not to defend provisions of the Affordable Care Act that forbid insurance companies from denying coverage or charging higher rates to consumers with pre-existing conditions.
