Faith Lessons from Colleagues and Patients

ABSTRACT: Although nurses' backgrounds are widely diverse, commonalities exist in faith and belief that can promote unity. Seeking to find shared ideals or beliefs promotes appreciation for team members' contributions, stronger working relationships, and benefit to patients. Vignettes of colleagues and patients illustrate the author's deepened understanding of this facet of nursing practice.
