Thread Starter Leadership for Medicine Application Follow 11 minutes ago 11m ago Hi everyone, I am a year 12 student hoping to apply for medicine this year. I was wondering if anyone would mind sharing their thoughts on showing leadership qualities in my application. I really wanted to apply for school captain at my school but the application process is quite rigorous, with two interviews and four presentations to year groups. There are also a lot of applicants. I am a Scottish student so I am sitting my Highers in May, then the captain application process is in June. However, the first interview clashes with the only Dundee medicine open day that I really want to attend. The presentations week then clashes with the Medic Insight work experience week, which I was really lucky to get a place on.
