NSU reaches $250M fundraising goal two years early with $30M in new donations

When Nova Southeastern University announced a $250 million fundraising campaign in early 2015, it sounded like a tough task, but it has made its goal three years ahead of schedule. On Jan. 27 at its Celebration of Excellence gala, the nonprofit university announced gifts of $25 million from Dr. Kiran Patel and Dr. Pallavi Patel and $5 million from Ron Assaf and Kathy Assaf, both for its health care programs.
