Deferred entry for Medicine and fee status

Thread Starter Deferred entry for Medicine and fee status Follow 4 hours ago 4h ago I am currently in Year 12 at a Brtish school in Cyprus (an EU member state) and I intend to apply for Medicine this year with deferred entry as I will have to complete 14 months of compulsory military service once I finish school. I have 2 questions: 1. If I get rejected this year (I know that getting into med school with deferred entry is more difficult than with regular entry), will this hinder my chances of getting in next year if I apply again? Do medical schools view reapplicants unfavorably? (my schools says no but I just want to make sure). 2. If I apply this year, when the UK will still be in the EU (but I will apply for 2020 entry, when the UK will be out of the EU), will I apply as a Home or an international student and what fee status will I be granted? Thank you!
