Mid-Year Review: How Has Your Year Been?

We are now in July, and that means we have passed the first half of 2014. There are only six months left this year. I think it’s a good time to stop and reflect on how our year has been. Has it been a good one? Have you been on track to achieve your goals? Or perhaps you have been sidetracked by something else? Don’t wait until the end of the year before doing your review. If you want to make this year your best year ever, you’d better review your progress now while you can still make adjustments. By reviewing how you have used the first half of this year, you can plan how to best use the second half. In doing your review, don’t forget to look at the big picture. If you have created a life map, check it to see how 2014 has been in comparison to your previous years. Is there a strong continuity throughout the years? Are you on track to achieve your long-term goals? Is there anything you should do differently? Don’t hesitate to make changes if you need to. Remember, you must do things differently to get different results. Just doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result is – as Einstein once said – insanity. Take time to do your review. Then take action based on it. I hope your second half of 2014 will be a great one! ##### Follow me on Twitter (or Facebook) for interesting links and updates.
