[Perspectives] Talking in the air

Juliet Stevenson last appeared at the Young Vic in 2015 as Winnie in Samuel Beckett's Happy Days. The role required some forbearance; initially, she was buried to her waist in shale and later she was buried up to her neck. With Wings, Stevenson is reunited with Happy Days director Natalie Abrahami in a play about a different sort of imprisonment.
