Native Vessel CERAB Re-establishes Aorto-iliac Flow Following Occluded Aortobifemoral Bypass

A 63  year year old female ex-smoker (previously smoking despite having COPD and curative lung tumour surgery; BMI 36) was referred with limiting claudication following an occluded aortobifemoral bypass undertaken in 2003 for aorto-iliac occlusive disease (panel A). Using bilateral percutaneous superfi cial femoral arterial access and bilateral aortic re-entry using the Outback device, two 9 × 150mm Viabahn endoprostheses were deployed per side, relining the native aorto-iliac system achieving covered endovascular reconstruction of the aortic bifurcation (CERAB); a proximal aortic cuff was prec luded by the short infrarenal segment (panel B).
