Machine Learning in Health Care

GO AHEAD. I AM LISTENING. The invitation from one of many digital assistants is deceivingly conscientious and human, especially when they might actually be eavesdropping all the time. One of the most fascinating aspects of technology is our persistent imposition of human values, beliefs, and language onto technological innovations. We build robots to look and sound human, challenge them to chess matches, and give them human names. We teach them to learn to respond to our voices and to reply in ways intended to make us think they are truly human.
