Nypro reopens renovated Illinois design and manufacturing facility

Nypro has officially opened the doors of its recently expanded Gurnee, Ill. location after having a ribbon cutting ceremony that included Mayor Kristina Kovarik and other company officials. The facility has almost doubled in size with the new expansion and is bringing 60 new jobs to the local area. The expansion also enhances specialized capabilities that help support diagnostic, medical device, pharmaceutical and consumer health market demands in the U.S. “With this development, Nypro has renewed its commitment to community investment, involvement and support, and also to bringing to market new, cutting-edge solutions for the design and assembly of medical and pharmaceutical applications,” Chuck Henry, VP of operations at Nypro Healthcare, said. “We look forward to applying our expanded capabilities here to address the latest challenges of our customers in the greater Chicago and Tri-State area.
