Dialysis bills in Legislature head to floor for votes

Two bills that would impose increased regulation on dialysis clinics in California are headed to floor votes in both houses of the Legislature. Assembly Bill 251, introduced by Assemblyman Rob Bonta, D-Oakland, would require dialysis clinics to spend at least 85 percent of treatment revenue on patient care, quality improvement, license fees and federal and state taxes.
