DOH approves renovations for Elderwood at Williamsville
State regulators have approved renovation plans at Elderwood ’s Williamsville facility.
The project, announced late last year, calls for expanding a short-stay rehab unit by relocating a 20-bed ventilator unit to the second floor, a $585,000 project. An administrative approval was issued this week by the state Department of Health.
The 200-bed site in Wil liamsville houses a skilled nursing facility as well as space for patients requiring rehabilitation after surgery.
