Demand-side measures against trafficking – DemandAT Final Conference - 10 May 2017, Brussels

The final DemandAT conference brings together researchers from the project consortium, NGOs, policy makers, representatives of international organisations and academics. The conference will critically examine the potential and the limits of demand-side approaches.
There will be three thematic panels focusing on:
Panel I: Conceptual and theoretical questions
Panel II: Demand in the context of trafficking for labour exploitation, and,
Panel III: Addressing demand using criminal sanctions and complementary or alternative strategies
A concluding panel will summarise conclusions for future anti-trafficking policies.
