Nightingale Horizon 2020 Project Open Market Consultation - 31 March 2017, Brussels, Belgium

Interested parties are invited to participate in the Nightingale Open Market Consultation meeting, which seeks to inform and prepare companies for the upcoming call for tender on 1 November; as well as gather feedback and suggestions from potential bidders. The Nightingale project, made up of doctors, nurses and engineers with expertise on managing deteriorating patients and delivering innovation in healthcare, want to design wearable technology that can continuously monitor patients’ vital signs as well as ensuring early warning of actual deterioration in and out of hospital. Once the design stage is complete Nightingale will challenge health/medical technology companies to produce a robust monitoring and communication device that connect patients, carers and health professionals. Potential bidders can access a questionnaire from www.nightingale-h2020.eu and those received before the OMC meeting will help shape the agenda. An additional OMC meeting will taking place on 6 April in Munich.
