​Emory Proton Therapy Center acquisition valued at $350 million

The Emory Proton Therapy Center is getting back on track after being acquired by nonprofit Provident Resources Group for a reported $350 million, according to the Greater Baton Rouge Business Report. Baton Rouge, La.-based Provident is taking control over the stalled $200 million center after original developer, Advanced Particle Therapy, could not finance the project.
