What Are the Risk Factors for Revision Surgery After Hip Arthroscopy for Femoroacetabular Impingement at 7-year Followup?

CONCLUSIONS: In this series of patients with arthroscopic treatment of symptomatic FAI, hip arthroscopy resulted in an intact hip without progression of osteoarthritis and with a Merle d'Aubigné score of ≥ 15 points in 81% of patients at 7-year followup. Increased acetabular coverage and femoral pistol grip deformity were risk factors for revision surgery. LEVEL OF EVIDENCE: Level IV, therapeutic study.
