Explosion Kills One, Injures Five in Bosnian Factory
SARAJEVO, Bosnia-Herzegovina (AP) — Authorities say an explosion at a paper production company in the northern part of Bosnia has killed one worker and injured five others. The blast in the factory's lye boiler occurred Tuesday morning and authorities are still investigating the cause. Police spokeswoman Aldina Ahmic told media the workers were immediately taken to the hospital, where one of them died. Another worker is severely injured while four suffered light injuries. The Natron Hayat factory is a Bosnian-Turkish joint venture. It was heavily damaged during Bosnia's 1992-95 war but postwar investment by Turkish partner Kastamonu Entegre company — which is a member of the Hayat Holding Group — has enabled the reconstruction of the factory, which now employs 900 people. This article focuses on anatomical variations of knee ligaments, which can mimics pathological structures. Well-known and less common ligaments that are sporadically observed and may raise the most doubt will be discussed. Familiarity with those variations of ligaments is indispensable for precise MRI reporting to avoid misinterpretation as meniscal tears, loose bodies or mass lesions especially in cases. This paper is addressed to both radiology and orthopaedics specialists. Illustrations show discussed ligaments in standard planes while, for less known ligaments, we add information on how to adjust planes to properly vis...
CONCLUSIONS: Despite the fact that accessory anterior thoracic wall and axillary muscles are considered to be rare, it is evident that the incidence of at least some of them is high enough to encounter them in clinical practice. Thus, clinicians' awareness of these anatomical structures is advisable. PMID: 30664230 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher]
CONCLUSIONS: PIT is a rare variation with a similar frequency among men and women. It is diagnosed by CT and when symptomatic the optimal treatment is surgery. PMID: 30664229 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher]
CONCLUSIONS: This anatomical study traced valuable surgical coordinates useful for performing selective peripheral neurotomy on the nerve branch innervating the FHL. PMID: 30664228 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher]

We investigated the efficacy and safety of I338 versus subcutaneous insulin glargine (IGlar) in patients with type 2 diabetes.MethodsThis was a phase 2, 8-week, randomised, double-blind, double-dummy, active-controlled, parallel trial completed at two research institutes i...
ConclusionsIn conclusion, metabolically health status and BMI are associated with risk of depression. Metabolically unhealthy situation increased risk of depression greater than metabolically healthy status.
ConclusionInverse correlation present between plasma zinc, calcium and magnesium level and BMI and waist circumference, but positive correlation seen between phosphate level and waist circumference. Further studies are needed to evaluate the effect of dietary or supplemental interventions on obesity and central obesity.
ConclusionObesity defined by a high BMI was not found to be a significant risk factor for micro/macroalbuminuria in hypertensive patients with a poor estimated glomerular filtration rate, when diabetes mellitus and the low eGFR value act as confounders.
ConclusionsIn this study, age was the strongest determinant of diabetes. And then type 2 diabetes is mainly attributable to WHR, significantly more so in women than men. Therefore, central obesity probably should be considered as a major strategy for reducing incidence of type 2 diabetes.
