Replacement FoodShare Benefits Available for Flood Victims

MADISON - Replacement FoodShare benefits are available for those who lost food due to the severe weather in northern Wisconsin last week. Governor Scott Walker declared a State of Emergency in eight Wisconsin counties including Ashland, Bayfield, Burnett, Douglas, Iron, Price, Sawyer, and Washburn after heavy rains caused flash flooding and power outages. FoodShare members who lost food due to the flooding or power outages caused by the severe storms may request replacement benefits for food...(see release)
