Formative Evaluation of the Healthy Eating and Lifestyle After Stroke Intervention

To conduct a formative evaluation of the implementation of the Healthy Eating and Lifestyle After Stroke intervention to determine the feasibility of a 6-week lifestyle intervention in a safety net setting with a socioeconomically disadvantaged, racial/ethnically diverse population. Feasibility included measuring the participants’ and therapists’ acceptability of the overall intervention, facilitators and barriers of implementation, and suggestions for future programs.
