Three-dimensional analysis of molar compensation in patients with facial asymmetry and mandibular prognathism.

CONCLUSIONS:   Mandibular asymmetry with prognathism showed a characteristic transverse dental compensation pattern. The mandibular asymmetry type influenced the amount and direction of molar compensation on the maxillary arch.
