The radiographer's role in interprofessional teams

Interprofessional teams exist throughout healthcare, aiming to improve patient outcomes by pooling expertise. These teams consist of healthcare professionals from different backgrounds, who come together to discuss options for patient management [1]. Radiologists play a key role in these teams, interpreting images and helping to incorporate their findings into the clinical decision making process. Radiographers, who take these images and have a huge amount of radiological knowledge, are not commonly part of these teams.
