Registry Capture of Implantable Vascular Devices to Drive Patient Safety

Vascular and endovascular surgeons implant medical devices to treat patients suffering from common conditions such as aneurysms, peripheral arterial disease, venous pathology, and carotid artery disease. The vast majority of these interventions benefit patients, but occasionally these devices do not perform as well as was hoped in the clinical setting, are not durable, and on rare occasions, lead to patient harm.
