Vaginal Foreign Bodies

I appreciate that Drs. Lehembre-Shiah and Gomez Lobo recognized the need to prepare and write this review and discussion of diagnosis and management of vaginal foreign bodies.1 I have always felt that the topic of vaginal foreign bodies was under published in the medical literature and depended on information from early publications and case reports.2-4 It is, however, an important topic, especially because as pediatric and adolescent providers we are called upon to help in the care of these patients.
