Bone Remodeling and Bone Loss Around Subcrestal Implants: Two Distinct Entities

Radiographic marginal bone loss (MBL) up to 2 mm during the first year of function, followed by a maximum of 0.2 mm of loss annually, was among the traditionally accepted criteria defining implant success.
