Tendon-bone interface (TBI) is a specialized structure that connects bone and tendon, effectively distributing stress and enabling efficient load transfer between the two tissues [1]. Rotator cuff tear (RCT) usually occurs at the site of the fibrocartilaginous TBI due to factors such as trauma, overuse, or degeneration, leading to significant shoulder discomfort and dysfunction [2]. RCT prevalence is 22.1% in the general population, with the incidence increasing with age [3]. Injuries affect 9.7% of individuals under the age of 20 on average, rising to 62% in those over the age of 80 [4].
