Characteristics of operative pediatric trauma transfer patients

Pediatric patients treated at trauma centers demonstrate improved outcomes, but investigation of optimal resource utilization surrounding the transfer is ongoing. We evaluated characteristics of operative pediatric trauma transfer patients for resource optimization.
