New CDC guidance proposes taking a common drug after unprotected sex to reduce the risk of an STD as US sees explosion of infections

The CDC announced it is seeking input on its proposal to offer the antibiotic doxycycline to gay men and men who have sex with men, as well as transgender women, who have unprotected sex.
