Telehealth Virtual Simulation for Community Health Nursing Students
Telehealth services have been found to be an effective strategy in reducing health disparities and improving health outcomes among populations with limited access to care (Badowski et al., 2018; Litke et al., 2018; McElroy, Day,& Becevic, 2020). More specifically, telehealth can provide a high-quality service that leads to increased access to care, self-awareness and management of chronic conditions, decreased missed appointments, a convenient modality for health education, improved communication, decreased travel time, improved medication adherence, and decreased hospital readmissions (Kruse et al., 2017).
