GP salaries soar by over £12,000 as face-to-face appointments plummet, official data reveals

Family doctors in England now pocket an average of £153,400 a year, despite failing to restore face-to-face care. It is a hike of over £10,000 in the space of 12 months, one of the biggest jumps on record.
