The ability to accurately measure lower limb alignment is essential in pre-operative planning and post-op assessment of total knee arthroplasty (TKA) and deformity correction surgeries. The popularity of technologies that allow precise component positioning [1,2] and interest in novel alignment philosophies [3] highlight the need for accurate assessment of lower limb alignment when planning TKA.
