Pomelo Care, a virtual medical practice that addresses risk factors to improve maternal and newborn health, increase access to care and reduce costs, has raised $33 million in seed and Series A funding.
The round, which was led by Andreessen Horowitz, will be used to expand the company ’s partnerships with major health plans, including Medicaid-managed care organizations, employers and academic medical centers.
