American Organization for Nursing Leadership Workforce Compendium —Section 1

In 2022, the American Organization for Nursing Leadership led a nationwide strategic initiative to facilitate the dissemination of best practices and strategies to support the invaluable work of nurse leaders. The resulting compendium focuses on initiatives that worked in practice, with less emphasis on findings in peer-reviewed literature. The AONL Workforce Committee and its 7 subcommittees released the first of a three-part series in November 2022. This summary, covering talent attraction, acquisition, recruitment, and retention, is the first of 3 summaries that will be presented in this journal.
