HARP ®: An Innovative Nurse Leadership Professional Development Program Demonstrating Measurable Evidence-Based Outcomes

This article describes the development of the HARP ® (Hierarchy of Accountability, Responsibility, and Professionalism) framework for nurse leadership development that encompasses the AONL nurse manager and AONL nurse executive evidence-based practice competencies. This article describes the development, implementation, and evaluation of a 10-month nurse leadership development and mentorship program based on the HARP model.
