Breaking point: securing the future of sexual health services

Commissioners and providers of sexual health services have been making repeated calls to the government to address the long-term funding and capacity challenges across local authority-commissioned sexual health services. The LGA and English HIV and Sexual Health Commissioners ' Group (EHSHCG) have produced this report focusing on demand and funding pressures. The report delves into the trends since local authorities took responsibility for sexual health services in 2013, looking at the social and economic context in which they occur.
