HPV42-associated Seborrhoeic Keratosis-like Lesion of the Cervix: First Reported Case With High-grade Morphology

We report a further HPV42-associated SKLL of the cervix which differs from the previously reported cases by the presence of high-grade morphology and block-type p16 immunoreactivity. This novel finding challenges the classification of HPV42 as a low-risk genotype and expands the reported morphologic spectrum of SKLL, suggesting that they may not always be clinically indolent.
