​Lahey Hospital CEO eyeing community hospitals for potential expansion

Lahey Health has been on an expansion spree for the last several years, and according to the CEO of the health system’s biggest institution, the hospital's next acquisition might be a community hospital. The organization was founded from a merger, with the formerly known Lahey Clinic growing beyond its footprint in Burlington, Lexington and Peabody to include Northeast Health System's Beverly Hospital and Addison Gilbert Hospital.
