Frequency of Complications After Kidney Transplant in the Early Postoperative Period
CONCLUSIONS: Despite the frequency of postoperative complications, timely assistance and further monitoring of patients can lead to normal functioning of the kidney transplant, except for cases of hyperacute rejection.PMID:38385397 | DOI:10.6002/ect.MESOT2023.P25 (Source: Experimental and Clinical Transplantation : official journal of the Middle East Society for Organ Transplantation)

Exploring biodiversity and ethnobotanical significance of Solanum species in Uzbekistan: unveiling the cultural wealth and ethnopharmacological uses
Despite its millennial existence and empirical documentation, the ethnological knowledge of herbs is a more recent phenomenon. The knowledge of their historical uses as food, medicine, source of income and small-scale businesses, and the sociological impacts are threatened due to the slow ethnobotanical research drive. Species of the genus Solanum have long been extensively used in folk medicine to treat various illnesses of humans since the dawn of civilization. New online tools to speed-up training of neurointerventionalists: an example in Central Asia
There is significant heterogeneity in access to endovascular stroke therapy (EVT) worldwide. Even within Europe, the rate of emergent large vessel occlusion patients treated with EVT ranges from <1% to >15%.1 In order to achieve a more uniform access rate that nears 15%, something like 500 new teams with EVT capabilities must be created in Europe. As difficult as this may look, at least this problem can be tackled by expanding a solid basis of existing regional stroke services and experiences. The situation is completely different in Central Asia, where most countries have very few EVT resources for stroke. The Uzbek...
