Physician groups plan $8.4 million surgery center in Albany
Two physician groups and a hospital are planning to build an $8.4 million ambulatory surgery center in Colonie, New York. OrthoNY, Albany ENT& Allergy Services PC and St. Peter's Hospital are asking the state for permission to build a 22,020-square-foot ambulatory surgery center at 123 Everett Road. Lymph node structural cells rein in human immune responses
(PLOS) New research published in PLOS Biology by Anne Fletcher and Konstantin Knoblich and colleagues, from Monash Biomedicine Discovery Institute (BDI), has veered away from traditional immunology by turning the spotlight on the structural cells that build and support the immune-rich environment of lymph nodes. Their research shows that the so-called Fibroblastic Reticular Cells (FRCs) that form the inner structure of human tonsils and lymph nodes exert control over T cells and their response to infection.
