Validation of the 35-mm rule in traumatic pneumothorax in an Asian population
CONCLUSION: Most patients with traumatic PTX of ≤35 mm on CT had undergone successful 4-h observation without thoracostomy. Additionally, PTX of >35 mm was an independent risk factor for observation failure. Tube Thoracostomy Complications in  Patients With ARDS Requiring ECMO: Worse in COVID-19 Patients?
CONCLUSIONS: Tube thoracostomy placement in COVID-19 patients with ARDS requiring V-V ECMO is common, as are complications following initial placement. Clinicians should anticipate the need for re-intervention in this patient population.
