Effect of Physical Activity During Chemotherapy on Cognitive Function in Cancer Survivors: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis
Conclusions: Combined resistance and aerobic exercise may benefit social cognition in cancer survivors undergoing chemotherapy. Due to high risk of bias and low quality of evidence of included studies, we recommend further investigation to support these findings and make specific PA recommendations.PMID:37250734 | PMC:PMC10211382 | DOI:10.3138/ptc-2021-0032 (Source: Physiotherapy Canada)

Benefits of residential immersive life skills programs: a prospective study of autonomy and self-efficacy gains and sex differences in youth with disability
CONCLUSIONS: RILS programs can result in sustained improvements in autonomy and self-efficacy. Urgency for change and personal needs/priorities may contribute to growth experiences. We recommend including a social connectedness module that formally facilitates friendships and social development to better meet the social needs of all youth, especially females with disabilities.PMID:37246393 | DOI:10.1080/09638288.2023.2216474 (Source: Disability and Rehabilitation)

HPV Vaccination and Cervical Cancer Screening Policies and Practices in 18 Countries, Territories and Entities across Eastern Europe and Central Asia
CONCLUSIONS: Cervical cancer prevention services in this region are very limited. Achieving the WHO Global Strategy targets by 2030 will require substantial investments in capacity building by international development organisations.PMID:37247301 | DOI:10.31557/APJCP.2023.24.5.1781 (Source: Asian Pacific Journal of Cancer Prevention)
