Your list for individual stocks
Doing this just as a thought exercise. If one were to use the motley fool approach of creating a portfolio with individual stock picking of 25 companies, what would you guys pick? Don’t have to go all the way to #25.
I personally just park my money in an index fund, and don’t recommend this approach, but thought it’d be fun to discuss.

Transitional year vs research year for IMGs aiming for ophthalmology
Hi everyone!
I’m a final year med student in Taiwan and my wife is a licensed MD in Taiwan. We both aim to pursue a career as an ophthalmologist in the States and are very concerned about our situations.
As IMGs, doing a transitional year sounds amazing to us as it provides us with the opportunity to familiarize ourselves with the US healthcare system and hopefully also get hands-on opportunities in ophthalmology at the same time.

Volunteering/Clinical Experience/Extracurriculars during the pandemic (internationally)
I'm an undergrad freshman at UCSB doing remote learning. How do I find volunteer opportunities? Will med schools take pandemic difficulties into account? I've read answers to other questions like mine, but Im living in Taiwan. So technically the pandemic is over here. There isn't a huge need for volunteers to help with testing since there are barely any new cases.
