How to handle a physical exam of a teen boy as a woman
Hello
I’m a medical student from switzerland. I’m about to begin a multiple weeks I nternship in a pediatrician office, the actual last major step of my studies.
I have an awkward concern about practicing physical exams on boys, especially teens. We didn’t talk about these kind of issues during university lectures and as the doctor I’ll follow during my internship is a male, I’m not sure he’ll be able to perfectly guide me about this condition.
Could you give me any advice about how to get...

Pathology Residency in Switzerland
Hello everyone.
I am planning to move to Switzerland.
Is pathology residency accessible for foreign doctors in Switzerland ? Is it a friendly speciality? Are there other specialities in the same field (medical/biology) where my application have some chances to be accepted?
Sorry if I make some mistakes, English is my third langage and I am currently also learning German. (Source: Student Doctor Network)

DO student interested in working in Netherlands and Switzerland and possibly gaining MD for practice outside the US
Hello,
I'm inquiring today if there is any information about a DO using an MD school for an MD degree for practice rights outside the US. After searching online on various European country's websites, it appears that the British DO is ONLY Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine/Technique approved practice rights in some countries. That's unfortunate for us US DO students who complete an ACGME approved residency looking to expand our horizon and work outside of the US in the distant future...

Applying for medical school in Europe (mainly considering Switzerland), Canada or US.
I am a student from a middle east country with an engineering background. After several years of spending my engineering life, I am now thinking of switching my major and start studying medicine to become a medical doctor rather than an engineer.
I also do not want to study in my country and I prefer to start a school in either one of the European countries or Canada (or at last, the USA).
From my understanding, I have to take the MCAT exam and then apply. But is that also true for...

Residency in Switzerland
Hi everyone,
I am currently a Canadian student studying in Italy. I have visited Switzerland many time and I absolutely love it. Do you know if non-EU citizens that graduate from an EU school can do their residency there after graduation? Anyone know the process, salary, working conditions, etc? I haven't been able to get a straight answer anywhere.
I speak fluent French (grew up in Montreal) and now fluent Italian, so languages are not a problem.
Thanks! (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Looking to reapply, changes I should make?
I'm applying to MD and MD/MPH programs this cycle and am not having any success thus far, one Post-II waitlist and still waiting from my only other II. I'm looking to plan my reapplication now and am wondering what I did wrong/should look to improve on next time around?
3.56 cGPA 3.59 sGPA from a top canadian school, for what it's worth my school is known for grade deflation, but I don't think this is a huge factor to AdComs.
